For the third year Marsa Malaz Kempinski The Pearl – Doha and Kempinski Residences & Suites, Doha have worked together with Hamad Medical Corporation to realize the Blood Drive Campaign, part of Hamad Medical Corporation’s commitment to the Qatar community, in line with its corporate social responsibility initiatives which aim to spread awareness about the importance of donating blood.
On the morning of September 4, 2018 there were 54 Blood Donor employees who really took their time, resting well a night prior and eating healthy, to donate blood.
Wissam Suleiman, Cluster General Manager of both properties said, “We are creating traditions over the years in raising awareness in donating blood in return, promoting the spirit of cooperation among our team members.”
Spreading awareness about the importance of donating blood to boost national blood reserves is critically important to maintain blood supplies in hospitals across Qatar.
Carlos Diaz, Cluster Human Resources Director of both properties said “We hope to raise awareness and educate our staff through this initiative on the numerous benefits of donating blood. We are always keen and proud to host such events at Marsa Malaz Kempinski.”
Blood is valuable to save lives and the demand is consistently high in Qatar.
Kempinski Doha is delighted to be part of this response and to be more eager to help, donate and contribute to the quality of life in the country. Kempinski Doha will continue its diversified welfare practices to strengthen the bond between their team members in paying it forward to the community.
