Maserati Qatar has been presented with the prestigious “Best DJWE Sponsor” award for their “long-term and strategic partnership with Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition (DJWE).”
The 2019 edition of the DJWE was held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) from the 20 to 25 February.
Organized by Qatar tourism authority and Auditoire Qatar, the DJWE’s awards recognize the stakeholder’s valuable efforts and significant contribution to making the widely acclaimed, Doha-based exhibition a sensational success.
The award ceremony to honor the DJWE’s main stakeholders took place on 14 March 2019 amid a celebratory atmosphere at W Doha hotel.
For the third year in a row, Maserati Qatar becomes an integral part of the success of the DJWE, by being the official car sponsor of the must-visit exhibition for jewellery aficionados. The Italian luxury brand used to provide a fleet of its high-performance vehicles to cater to high-profile guests and VIPs attending the distinguished exhibition.
Commenting on the partnership, Charly Dagher, General Manager of Maserati Qatar at Alfardan Sports Motors—Qatar’s official Maserati Importer—said: “It’s an honor for us to partner with the Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition. We have been collaborating with them since 2017, and we are looking forward to continuing this partnership for many years to come. Founded in 2003, this year’s 16th edition of the DJWE was a stunning success. It hosted more than 500 prestigious international luxury brands, offering a wide range of sophisticated timepieces and jewellery collections. Excitingly, the regionally renowned exhibition also showcased the creations of the most talented local jewellery designers. Overall, it has very effectively reinforced its position as one of the foremost business events in Qatar.
