Alfardan Premier Motors Co., the official retailer of Jaguar Land Rover vehicles in the State of Qatar, has wrapped up a competition inviting school students to draw the new Land Rover Defender and win the iconic 4x4’s latest LEGO set. Hosted at several schools throughout February, the community engagement initiative sparked creativity among participants while allowing Alfardan Premier Motors to provide a compelling experience for the next generation of motorists.

The submitted artwork was judged based on originality, creativity, and relevance to the Land Rover Defender, and all winning entries are now on display at Alfardan Premier Motors showrooms in anticipation of the new Defender’s launch.

Commenting on the competition, Samer Bou Dargham, General Manager for Alfardan Premier Motors, said: “It was inspiring to see the student’s creativity and artistic talents as they sketched out the new Defender’s modern and purposeful look – congratulations to all of our winners. In a show of our pride to be part of the community, the winning entries are now on display in our showrooms and getting plenty of deserving admiration from our customers.”

Hussein Adra, Marketing & Customer Relationship Manager for Alfardan Premier Motors added: “Working with students is always enriching because they’re the Land Rover motorists of the future. Through the competition and the LEGO sets up for grabs, we wanted to encourage the younger generation to create while celebrating the beauty of the returning Defender model in a way that engaged and involved the local community.”

The new LEGO Technic Land Rover Defender is an automotive icon you can build at home. The model combines the boundless creativity of LEGO with new Defender’s instantly recognisable silhouette and unrivalled capability. It has realistic elements and functions, including authentic body panels and rims, four-wheel drive with three differentials, fully independent suspension, a working winch and LEGO Technic’s most sophisticated gearbox yet – all designed to provide an engrossing and rewarding building experience for car lovers and LEGO fans alike.

Crafted for the 21st century, the new Land Rover Defender was a worthy subject for the competition. The model combines legendary Land Rover 4x4 capabilities with superior on-road ride and handling, each complemented by world-class craftsmanship and five-star safety features. The Defender links the past to the present through today’s most advanced automotive technologies while remaining true to its heritage as a trusted segment leader and a dependable, unstoppable 4x4.

The new Defender builds on its long and rich heritage in the region. The original Series and Defender models have long been relied upon by a diverse group of motorists to stand up to the region’s testing terrain. New chapters in the vehicle’s long story have already been written, as the new Defender was pushed to its limits during more than 62,000 gruelling development tests. The model covered more than 1.2 million kilometres across some of the harshest environments on earth, including the Middle East’s unforgiving desert landscape.

The new Defender will arrive soon at Alfardan Premier Motors showrooms. For further information on the new Defender, please contact or visit your nearest Jaguar Land Rover showroom from Saturday to Thursday from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm and on Fridays from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
